This is one of the supplements you should definitely not take on your own initiative. If you are suffering from IBS, SIBO or other gut issues, it may do more harm than good. If you want to take prebiotics and/or probiotics work with an experienced holistic practitioner and make sure you get yourself tested (stool test etc) before you supplement.

This prebiotic powder is of excellent quality and great value for the price. It dissolves easily in water or juice, has a mild taste, and is very effective for supporting gut health and digestion. I noticed better regularity and overall comfort after just a couple of weeks. The package size is convenient and lasts a long time.

Many people take probiotics. However, prebiotics are important for good gut health too. I rotate this with inulin. Update: I stopped taking this and haven't noticed a difference. I am just taking inulin.

This powder was recommended in the book " Supergut ". I actually don't know the benefits but I used it regularly with clove and green tea. My gut us now fine so in combination with everything else I did for my intestinal health, it seemed to produce benefits to my body. The packaging is fine.

I used this product for making homemade yogurt and it appeared to work just fine, except that I did have digestive issues and found out later that I had medical issues which gave me an intolerance to many foods and, unfortunately, to this and inulin. Since that was the case, I cannot give it more than three stars but it was entirely my fault and not the fault of the product. If you can tolerate FOS I see no reason why this wouldn't work for you.

This is a good prebiotic to feed low flora but unfortunelty it bloated me because of intense disbiosis, so i guess i have to start at lower dosage
