L-Lysine, 500 mg, 60 Veggie Capsules

I bought this product when I had my ptosis surgery on my eyes, the healing was fast and the quality was good. I actually took together with other products in the photo, Papaya Enzymes and Vitamins C together to speed up the healing process, my surgery is healed and I can wash my face in 4 days. My cat has herpes and it causes him to have a watery eye and a running nose. My vet said to give him L-Lysine daily. I first purchased Now Foods L-Lysine which is a good brand and later I tried this product. Both Now Foods and California Gold are good quality brands. I gave my cat one capsule daily and after a month and a half I saw the results. Works great! There are other products that are more suitable for cats but they are usually more expensive. If your cat is willing to eat it, you can put the capsule in his food or mix the powder with his wet food. Mine wasn’t having it so what I did was I wet the capsule in water and quickly put it deep in his mouth. He immediately swallowed it. It slipped down his throat. Maybe not the best solution but my cat is really sweet so while he isn’t a fan of his daily capsule he also doesn’t make a fuss about it and it does help with his herpes.

I heard taking these at the first sign of a canker sore will stop it in its tracks. I bought them after fighting a bad one for next time. Will report back.

These don’t disintegrate as easily in humid Singapore weather. The previous tablets I bought were atrociously huge and made me gag. These are easy to down and easy to pack in my pill box. Taken with vitamin C and L-proline for collagen maintenance for aging skin
