Doesn't work well with my brain/body. It certainly produces much more REM sleep, vivid dreaming and tiredness to get to sleep but I also toss and turn, wake up a lot more and feel more tired in the morning as it doesn't allow me to deep sleep. when taking magnesium glycinate I feel much more refreshed and repaired in the morning.
This melatonin with 5-HTP has helped this chronic insomniac fall asleep! I weaned myself off of prescription sleep meds because after a short while they don’t do anything for me. I have tried so many different ways to fall asleep including breathing techniques, meditation, different supplements….. Some help a little but once I started taking this, most times, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do—put me to sleep.
These worked well as a night time supplement, but now I’m just scared of taking melatonin! Lol
