The products from this brand tick every box, and this is no exception! Glass bottle, zero fillers and organic! The only downside for me personally is the price, but if you can afford it then by all means go for it! Big thumbs up for all their products being certified organic! The amount of pesticides being used out there is very alarming, and their residue can enter ground and surface waters like rivers and streams that people and wildlife use for drinking and also harms aquatic life along the way. So you risk exposing yourself to contaminants every time you use a product that is not certified organic. I was recommended by a friend to take astazanthin after my pink eye turned into Keratitis. 3 days after taking this, my eye returned to near normal. Similarly, my teenage sister dropped her phone on her face, hurting her eye, and she was not swollen after 3 days. This is great stuff

By far if you start to look at the reviews for this supplement, it's just an overall amazing product and has so many benefits. A must have!

This dark red capsule is a regular/medium capsule-size and tasteless and the quality is very pure I often do better with dry rather than oil based supplements which is why I chose this. I take it with a piece of very dark chocolate in the late afternoon before dinner when I walk/hike/workout. It gives my body and mood a secure energy boost. I also think it's why I have enough control to eat a healthy balanced dinner since my blood feels nourished

An antioxidante , a red pigment cartenoid that occors in algae and pinkish red salmon and some other seafoods. As in carots...cartenoid is a metabolite of zeaxanthin. Protects cells from damage, improves immune system functions. reduces inflammation thanks to the pigment. Astaxanthin supplement usually is produced from yeast or algae . Some people have to avoid yeast, but this particular high end quality company is as natural as it comes, uses pure algae, no yeast !!! It is used in some expensive face skin care cosmetics.

I would say Pure Synergy's astaxanthin is comparable to other brands, but I'm not sure if I'd come back to the brand. Not a bad choice with good ingredients.

When compared to another astaxanthin supplement I have this one has half the amount of astaxanthin. Nevertheless, it has phospholipids to help with absorption, so, I'm in. It is a powder though. It does dissolve in water. So, what do I do? Continue with my other astaxanthin that is a gorgeous oil inside a capsule, or take this one. For now, I'm going to take one of each. Also, thank goodness, I don't seem to have the heart pounding effect from astaxanthin that I get from taking a regular fish oil capsule.
