These are food-based/derived multivitamins, so much so, that they do not need to be taken with food. They are highly absorbed into your body, and you can and will feel the difference within 7-10 days of taking them (as directed). A bit more expensive, but worth every single penny! Enthusiastically recommended, especially to those who don't eat enough fruits and/or veggies! A+++++

I'm a big fan of the MegaFood brand of vitamins and supplements. It has quality ingredients including real food. Plus the fact that they still use dark amber glass bottles to package their product. This helps protect the vitamins/supplements from damaging UV light. The products cost a bit more, but definitely worth it.
