Vital Extracts, Mangosteen, 500 mg, 60 VegCaps

This is an excellent product. The most potent part of the Mangosteen fruit is the pericarp. I have an autoimmune disease and aim to keep my immune system functioning normally - I need both anti-inflammatories and high anti-oxidants . By consuming superfoods, such as mangosteen which has one of the highest levels of antioxidants known, I have been able to relieve the symptoms of my autoimmune without drugs. My rheumatologist is amazed at my blood work which is now normal. By quieting my overzealous inflammatory response from autoimmune disease with superfoods such as Mangosteen, I've gotten my "youth" back. My skin loves it, too! Highly recommend.

I purchased the Mangosteen Vital Extracts to complement my collagen supplement, as I had heard the antioxidants in mangosteen can support skin elasticity and collagen production. I have noticed some visible skin lightening effects, even in the summer months so I'm hopeful this supplement will provide additional benefits for my skin's health and appearance. But please note that I've only been taking it for around 2 weeks and I do take other supplements.

I am close to finishing the bottle but so far haven’t seen and noticed of any visible differences. As the capsule goes, they are easy to swallow and look super cute in a vibrant yellow colour. I think it is not a bad supplement in a long run, but I will be trying some other products to compare so I don’t plan on repurchasing it at the time being.

years ago, living in ME, we ate the delicious fruit that is a thin film of white material spread over a large seed; tasted like vanilla plus. I was quite surprised when someone was peddling mangostten juice from the thick covering of the material and more surprised when drinking it helped arthritis pain. When I found it in a pill for was delighted and started taking 1 a day; as I have gotten older and tend to hurt more, I now take 2 in Am and 2 in PM. I only take acetaminophen or IBU on occasion or some other homeopathic medicinte...thus far avoiding the big strong anti-inflammatory drugs especially steroid drugs. It has been a God-send for me and I keep working and moving at 82
