I switched from one brand where I had to replace the entire coffee maker due to a heat sensor issue twice in six months. I chose Hamilton Beach with the stainless steel carafe for its usefulness and less breakage with a glass carafe. Only have had this for a few days and it's working fine so far.
I've had this coffee maker for over six years and it's still going strong with moderate to heavy daily use! This machine really stands out with it's adjustable time off and warming plate temp. The only issue I've experienced is that as of lately, it won't keep time. Kind of strange, but this hasn't affected its functionality.
Never collected it as it didn't arrive for store pickup in the timeframe Macy's stated. Macy's refusing to refund until 7 days have passed since it did get delivered, which was 3 days late. They need to state that the ready for pickup by date is estimated but that is not what the listing or email says.
great coffee pot, second one purchased. one bad review: lid on water reservoir warped after a few uses and would not shut flush. did not effect the coffee taste, but was irritating. finally I taped it shut and used the front water fill.
This is a great coffee makes that makes delicious coffee! My only disappointment is that the carafe stems i side and makes it hard to say how much coffee is in it. I also miss a beep, as in my old machine, letting me know coffee was ready. But, not a big deal! The machine is so nice that i will adapt!

I hope I had seen this reviews before. This thing has a mortal electronic defect. Clearly it is a widespread problem by watching the reviews. It’s unsolvable. There is no troubleshooting possible. Avoid

Hot coffee ready for me when I wake up! I like that this coffee pot is basic. It works as expected. Nothing fancy except for the programming which is super convienent. I would totally recommend this pot to people. I always love how hamilton beach coffee pots keep the coffee so HOT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is impractical for the average household. It might be good for a small office instead. A full pot (14 cups) in reality is probably 7 or 8 average cups. I found it too heavy for me to try lifting after I ran a full pot of water before the first use, as per directions. I had to let it cool off before I could empty it. I would be leery of making more then 8-10 cups.I also found the instructions for the filter and optional accessories unclear.
