Hamilton Beach Digital Multi Cooker - 37523

Looks pretty nice. Not very user friendly at first since instructions are minimal. It does not indicate you must keep pressing the menu bottom to get to the feature desired. Once you get the hand of it - ok.

I was looking for a multi cooker to replace my old one that died. So glad I got Hamilton Beach. One thing I like to do is slow cook and this machine does just that, meaning it does not cook too high, it's low and slow as it should on the slow cook option. I steamed shrimp and cooked white rice. So glad I got this machine, plus on sale!

I bought this couples of weeks ago and it start working good but yesterday I opened and instantly it stop working and never work again

It was very easy for me to use. The instructions were very clear. I use this about once or twice a week and have had no issues with it so far.

I am able to cook all sorts of things from main dishes to cooking the rice for a side! I absolutely love mine and recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to enjoy this machine. There are no instructions to speak of, just your basic hazard warning, on/off, how to make rice, cereal. I searched YouTube to see how to operate and what I could make in this multi cooker. There is an older video of the multi cooker that came with a mini cookbook with examples of what you could make. Not with the new one. For me there is excitement as to what I can make when I buy an appliance as it typically comes with examples of what you can make, i.e., slow cooker. But not this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The multi cooker's glass lid is great because it allows you to see your food as it's cooking. I like that you can make up to 10 cups of rice. Great for when you are feeding alot of people. The steamer basket is another plus. I have steamed numerous vegetables in this and they come out perfect. Making rice took a few trys to get right. The directions are not the clearest so it was more trial and error. Rice did not stick and clean up is easy because the insert is dishwasher safe. The slow cooker part is good for making soups. It is smaller than a crock pot so roasts did not fit real well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This multi cooker appliance is so convenient, for making many side dishes and meals. I've made pot roast, white rice, beans, and some steamed veggies. All have come out great. What is unique about this Hamilton beach multi cooker, is that on the menu you can choose the LOW slow cooker or the HIGH slow cooker feature. I'm home a lot so the high slow cooker feature is what I use most, but if you are gone most of the day, and you want dinner then of course it's convenient to be able to choose the low slow cooker feature. I do like having that option. The lid on this has a glass see through window, doesn't really give you a good view because of the condensation that forms on the window. If I want a good look I just quickly pot the lid open, no big deal. This comes with a steaming basket, rice paddle, and measuring cup. It is a 4.5 quart capacity. We are a family of four so this is a perfect size for us. The removable pot is nonstick and is easy to clean up. All the main and side dishes I have made have come out great. Once each meal or side dish is done, it will automatically go into warm mode. It really does save me time. I was confused about how to make the rice at first, I just didn't understand it. Once I got the directions clarified, my rice came out perfect. There is no need to set an amount for the rice. You just add as directed your rice and water and set to which rice you want, either brown or white, close lid and wait for it to beep and it's done!! The menu is easy to navigate, and choose your setting. Overall this is a great handy appliance, and I use mine at least three times a week. Also It doesn't take up a lot of counter space which is a plus for me. I'm excited to start making soups, since it's starting to get cold now.

I ended up getting the flu two weeks ago and my appetite just wasnt there. so of course I ended up making myself some chicken and vegetable soup to have something in my stomach with my medication. This thing is awesome it cooks just like my old crock pot. I put the onions carrots celery and chicken in and let it cook for a few hours and yuuummy. It was just what I needed to help me kick some of that nasty flu out of me. Thank you Hamilton beach for such an awesome product.
