These pans are advertised as induction ready. They are not great .. they leave rings. On the stove surface because the bottoms are not flat. Had I known they were not flat bottom I certainly would not have purchased. I have always been happy with kitchen aid but not these pans. They also are not as magnetic as they should be.
I actually did not buy this set through Macy’s. However, I did buy them for my college age son for his first apartment but from a different store. I love them and so did he. He has since moved home for a little while, and I inherited the pots and pans. I’m so glad that I found them here at Macy’s by accident and thinking about buying another set . They cook the food really well and clean up easily! They’re solid but not as heavy like a cast-iron but they feel kinda like a cast-iron. Now we’ve only had them for about a year and I don’t know what they will look like next year but so far they are the best pots and pans I’ve ever bought!
So frustrated with the set… lasted for 3 months only and the coating started peeling off.
Nothing sticks! And after having it on high heat for 10 minutes or more, I was still able to grab onto the handle without a pot holder.

Top quality, love cooking with that set!
We have had them for a bit over a year and they def peel, I’m assuming the shards end up in our food so ya, they are very unsafe. Sidenote, we have never used metal utensils on them and we only hand wash them.
We’ve had for a couple years and already the lining is peeling. That doesn’t seem safe at all! We got some cheap stainless steel pots from Harbor Freight that have lasted over 10+ years. This is really disappointing as I’ll have to toss them.
