SK II is a very popular, high end facial treatment that helps combat signs of aging. Nice, light texture and isn't sticky on the skin. It absorbs well and workl under make-up so no pilling experienced. I don't think it's the miracle essence other people think it is. Luxury prices don't guarantee results and I can't say this is any better than similar products at half the price or less.
Been using this for 2 months now, I noticed my hyperpigmentation started to lighten up, and also my skin barrier seems stronger. I also use it with the Renew Cream and the combo is great!

I have been wanting to try SK-II for a long time after hearing so many great things about it, especially the Essence. When I first poured it out, I was surprised by how watery it is. It is more like a toner than a serum. I honestly did not expect much based on the texture and wondered if it would make any difference. Following the directions, I poured a small amount into my palms, pressed my hands together, and patted it into my skin. After that, I used my normal serum and finished with a face cream. It does not have a scent, which is something I prefer. I like that the formula is simple and not heavily fragranced. The first time I used it was at night. The next morning, I noticed my face looked subtly better, and I thought I was imagining it. After using the product morning and night for a few days, the improvement was undeniable. My skin looked smoother, my fine lines were softer, and even my husband commented on his own that my face looked clearer. This Essence truly lives up to the hype. The 7.7-ounce Essence is supposed to last at least six months, which makes it a good value. Based on the results I am already seeing after a week, it is worth every penny. I will definitely keep this Essence in my permanent skincare lineup! I highly recommend!
