Aroma ARC-914S 8-Cup Cool-Touch Rice Cooker

Youngest just moved out and requested a rice cooker to do meal prep for the workweek. This is a great price - very nice appliance.

I bought the product because it stated it was a 8 cup cooker. Its actually a 4 cup cooker that makes 8 cups of rice,

This is not an 8 cup rice cooker. The box and description are misleading. Make sure you read it. It's equivalent to 8 cups once you cook your actual 4 cups of rice. I had to return it upon opening the box.

I purchased this in March but didn't open until July 7, 2025. It was mean to be a gift for my niece. When opened it is dented!!!! I am so disappointed. I feel like it was intentionally sent dented because of it bring ordered online.

I looks great but smaller than expected. It looks more like a 4 cup, not 8.

It cooks but the lid hinge is weak and dosent line up properly to close all the time. Also seems to cook unevenly used it 4 times so far everytime back part of the machine is not cooked all the way.

The son’s family loves it

Rice cooker

Nice little rice cooker. I only cook for myself so I use it weekly. Rice has been consistently cooked. My only complaint is there is no buzzer or ding to let you know it is done cooking. So you must stay in the kitchen so you can hear the “click” when cook button stops. If you don’t take the bowl out of cooker immediately the rice will get kind of crusty on bottom. I work around this as the price was right when I purchased.
