Hi, I'm currently trying to get through to UPS to schedule a pick up of this extremely extremely heavy pot. I can't even get through cause UPS has horrible customer service. Yes this pot weighs a ton is way too much. I don't need this. I don't recommend it.
Came scratched and looked like it was starting to rust. Recommend investing in a staub or le creuset that will last. That’s what I ended up doing.

Placed my Cornish hen, vegetables and a few cut up potatoes in here placed in the oven for 1hr pulled out and it was perfect.
upon opening the box I noticed something was off. It was filthy but thought it just needed a good cleaning. after washing it 3xs it just kept getting worse. (yes, I read the cleaning instructions) there was rust coming off on my towel as I dried it - with each cleaning. I have other cast iron and understand that some come seasoned but this was alarming. Sadly, it's going back.
Great size, very heavy and sturdy. I will have severla uses for this oven
