BABOR Collagen Firming Ampoule Concentrates

One star for the glass bottle. It is genuinely dangerous. I’ve purchased Babor products many times and have used various ampoule treatments. Today, while opening one, the bottle shattered in my hand and caused several small cuts. The injuries don’t visible in the photo because they’re minor, but they do hurt. The glass bottle is truly unsafe. I strongly recommend replacing it with a safer alternative.  Every Babor product goes up by about $5 every year, and I don’t believe budget is a valid reason not to switch to safer packaging. I also hope that, if the bottle is changed, it won’t become another excuse for a price increase.

I opened the vial (which was a little tricky) and ended up only using half of it. Even using only half on my face and neck I could see a slight difference after the first application. I ordered more and have been using one vial a day- definitely happy with the way it makes my skin look and feel.

Containers are glass and when I opened one, glass flew off and cut my finger. After a few days my finger began to swelled and became very painful. I thought it would heal on its own, but after a week it became so swollen and painful I couldn’t use my hand or bend that finger. I work on a computer and it came to a point I couldn’t type, household or self care. I went to the ER and had X-rays, but found no debris in finger. Was given antibiotics and referred to a specialist for surgery. The specialist first had me do a CT scan and said surgery my be needed for nerve damage and drainage. 5 months later I can move my finger and swelling has gone down, but still occasionally painful. Contacted their customer service just to warn them to perhaps use a different material and they were incredibly dismissive, especially because I got their product from a different company than directly from them. I’ve severe pain and mobility issues and spent thousands and lost time at work. Don’t buy!
