Kitchen utensils that can't tolerate the dishwasher? UGH But, that's what these are. One run through the dishwasher and the wood is frayed- lost its smoothness. (I'm guessing that soaking these too long would get the same result.) I saw too late a warning on the label: handwash only. Why make them this way? The set is nice though. I will lightly sand and then seal the wood... as they should have come from the factory.

These are great. Sturdy not flimsy. I read reviews of the wooden handle feeling rough but it is smooth and does not bother my hands at all (and I have neuropathy in my hands). Overall this is a well made set. I am happy with my purchase.

Sturdy

The rubber is stiff and the handles aren’t comfortable to use. I will end up giving these away and try another brand. Quite disappointing. I’m glad I bought it on sale.

I have been using my set of spatulas for a few months now. I initially bought another brand with plastic handles but the handles would melt if they touched the sides of a hot pan. This set is wonderful and replaces a similar set that I used for 15 years. Each spatula is perfect...not too thick, not to heavy, with a bit of flexibility to perfectly scrape clean the sides of a bowl and the wood handles are still in excellent condition. This is a classic spatula design! Don't waste your time on spatulas with overly thick handles or heads. They might look cute or be the perfect color or pattern but, in the end, you want tried and true kitchen utensils that make cooking and baking easier

I'm surprised and pleasantly impressed with the high quality of this item. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more to give as gifts!
