Cuisinart WAF-150 Waffle Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First batch we made with this new Belgian Waffle Maker was disappointing. The grid/cutouts for this model are not as deep as the standard style Belgian, resulting in a very thin Belgian Waffle. We previously had a commercial type, round style that you rotate to make the waffle. We wanted this Cuisinart model because it was full size, square, and stood up for easy storage. It did not make, what we would call, a full size Belgian Waffle. Even using my tried-and-true waffle recipe- the waffles made on this were very thin, very delicate texture, and would not crisp up.

Great buy! We bought the waffle maker after our old one gave out. We are def please with the way the waffles come out, toasty in the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. We use regular pre-made trader joe waffle mix and they come out perfect every time. Hoping it lasts for a long time, my kids enjoy making and eating them!

One of the biggest reasons I chose this waffle maker was the PFAS-free ceramic nonstick cooking surface. While it’s still a coated surface, I prefer ceramic over traditional nonstick coatings, and it was much more affordable than the other ceramic waffle makers I considered. So far, it’s been a great purchase. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and makes delicious Belgian waffles that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The adjustable browning control is easy to use, and being able to make four waffles at once is a huge time saver for our family. My only complaint is that the plates aren’t removable, so cleanup takes a little more effort than I’d like. Even so, I felt the ceramic cooking surface, performance, and price made it the best balance of features for my needs. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this waffle maker for over 15 years. With a young kiddo we use it nearly every weekend. It still works great but is finally losing the non-stick functionality. I'd still highly recommend this product. I plan on replacing it with the same or similar model.

Using Belgian waffle mix these waffles are light and crispy on the outside. I haven’t used regular waffle mix, but feel it will be fine. The machine is a bit heavier than expected, but not bad.

I love how easy it is to both use and clean. Great purchase!

The waffle maker was real easy to use. I totally cooked the waffles perfectly as per the directions.

Unfortunately this waffle maker doesn’t cook the waffles completely especially the top portion maybe a defective unit but cusinart will make good on the warranty

I have used this product 3 times and each time the bottom cooks but not the the top and I have to turn the waffle over at the end to cook the top.

Excellent waffles when using the original recipe. Don't know about the new recipe.
