[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is big and beautiful just as I'd hoped. It's heavy like all cast iron pans so be ready to lift and carry it. I love it for frying and searing meat and used it also for braising with a top from one of my old pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Enameled Cast Iron skillet is a heavy duty kitchen tool. I appreciate that is doesn't need to be seasoned. The nonstick surface makes it a breeze to clean. The blue color is beautiful and makes it nice to display in my kitchen. I leave it on my stove since it's very heavy to take in and out of the cabinet. If you have any issues lifting heavy pots and pans, this skillet is not for you. It heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly. Overall, a nice addition to most kitchens.

It look lightweight but it's pretty substantial and it's extremely well made. I lvoe cooking with cast iron and this one doens't even need to be seasoned at all. Love it.
