This is actually my second purchase of Kitchen Aid kettle because I was so pleased with the first. My only regret is that fire engine red was the only available color, but I was given a modest discount, I assume for that reason.
I'm giving this product 1 star due to an overwhelming plastic taste. The kettle has a plastic filter component inside that seems to be the reason, making it unusable and a health hazard. I expected much better from KitcheAid, and I will be retruning it immediately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this funky little kettle a month ago for two reasons: I wanted a kettle that lasted and my Kitchen Aid gear lasts well and it was too cute to ignore. It isn’t heavy but feels sturdy as if it will last a long time, it looks great on the bench and it boils quickly and quietly. It holds a little less water than most kettles but this hasn’t been a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute little kettle. A bit smaller than our last one so it’s taking a bit of getting used to. I wouldn’t say it’s any quieter than our last one though. Oh well. Works fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle works great. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. The water heats fast. The size is smaller than I expected, so less water in the pot. The overall performance is great. I got the Tiffany blue and it is a perfect pop of color in my kitchen.

This is the third pot I've received. Two of them were burnt to a crisp by guests who unknowningly set the pot on the gas stove to heat the water. Could you make a tag of some sort to warn people who somehow don't realize it is an electric pot!! I'm afraid now to leave it on the counter!
