Miele HX2 Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

I love all my Miele products but this one is disappointing. I've used this vacuum for a few months now and the dust disposal design is really bad. Dust gets everywhere and my hands get dirty. Often times I dust collects on the filter screen and I have to take a brush to it to get it off. I would have thought that for the price the design of the dust removal would have been considered in greater detail.

This is the best cordless vacuum I have ever used!

Reason why I bought it and not another brand: the canister can be positioned lower down so easier to move around, not as heavy on my aging arms also means vacuum stands upright, I don't have to lean it against something Drawbacks: 1) canister rather small requires frequent emptying, 2) have to use my hand to pull out what I cannot shake out from the canister (would be nice if there was a device that would push the debris out), 3) and this is a real problem for me -- despite rereading the instructions and watching an online video I still am unable to remove the fine dust filter -- the person demonstrating in the you tube video said trying to remove the fine dust filter is like the child proof caps on prescription drugs -- except I can eventually get the cap off -- despite numerous tries I still cannot get the fine filter out -- so so annoying. Would I recommend -- probably but with a warning about the fine filter

After LOTS of debate, searching, and reading reviews we decided to order the Miele. I LOVE that we can configure the power unit lower on the handle. That distributes the weight very well. It's also a huge plus that the vacuum can stan independently configured that way. I have found that I don't often have to use the highest speed, which prolongs the vacuuming time. We've owned at least three Dysons and one Tineco. So far, the Miele outperforms them! **As mentioned in other reviews I read, be sure to charge each battery, the first time, in the vacuum fully before using it. Also, according to the guide, you should run the battery down completely at leave four times before charging again. Both help the batteries prolong their life, which equals more run time.

Easy to reconfigure as needed; excellent and impressive cleaning. The drawback is the battery time even on Econo. Max run time on Econo mode is just under 20 minutes (one of the two batteries lasts 10 min). This would have had a 5 star rating if the run time was longer.

I like this vac ok. It comes with 2 batteries. Good. But you'll need both becasue the battery doesn't last long. If you have a larger area, you'll need to swap the battery out. I am 5'3", not big by any estimation amd the battery is quite difficult to get off the machine. It takes 2 hands to push the sides on to release the battery. And it's top heavy, so you have to lean it up against something in order to grasp both sides of the battery to pull it down.

Easy to use great cleaning powerful

The unit has a great design and work perfect, however it doesn't keep up the power for longer than 15 minutes at maximum power. Before purchasing I saw Miele description of this unit to keep it longer, so it is a misguided information by the manufacturer.

I was really disappointed with the Triflex HX2 Pro. It is not easy to take apart when you want to use the handheld or move the power motor position. The bin is far too small and emptying it is again not user friendly due to the stiffness of the parts and the complexity of cleaning the filter. The suction was poor compared to the Dyson and it left debris around the edges of the room. I feel this model lets Miele reputation down as all my Miele products so far have been exceptional
