Improved over are old one which was 8 years old
Runtime, suction and filtration all improvement on our old one. It light and just as if not better manoeurability dust capacity hads always been good as we empty it every time we use it, and the cat is not freaked out by us using it.

Great product
Works great. It’s lightweight and cleans rigs well. Great suction and easy to handle. There’s room to improve the manual. Battery life is shorter than expected. Can you make a corded conversion kit to replace the battery?

Good Vacuum
Love the vacuum, easy to use. Battery life is shorter than I expected, but it is not a large battery.

Top of handle with motor is heavy
I recently bought the Dyson VA Cyclone because I wanted a cordless vacuum. The one thing I found that I'm not thrilled with is that the motor is attached right up on the top of the handle, and when I vacuum it becomes very heavy feeling and my hand gets tired and sore. I think it would have been better if the motor were lower down.

Making vacuuming easier?
Great suction and easy to manouver. Fairly easy to empty. It could do with being lighter.

Good Vacuum but
The vacuum is heavier than the older V8 Animal model. I haven’t figured a reason to use the third power level offer by the unit. Suction power is great on low and high levels. The vacuum’s brush unit does not work on thicker carpers, and may need a different brush for cleaning thicker carpets. Overall the vacuum is good for whole house vacuuming on tile and carpet floors.
