When I open my package the box was damage , you can tell is been return , and inside the rice cooker pot was been used and you can see the inside is not brand new . I hope Macy can do more quality control not sending used things out , I can tell the stickers is very old from previous return . I don’t recommend order this online . I have made quinoa and steamed vegetables successfully. The directions are clear. The charts are very helpful.
The rice cooker is amazing, the quality control is not. One of the buttons came damaged. I think I will come swap it.
I’ve tried other brands and other models of rice cookers and this is the best one for consistently perfectly cooked rice and grains. I like that excess condensation from the lid has a drip spout and collector too. Skip the induction model. New technology isn’t always better!
I love it! Very stylist and functional.
The best rice cooker on the market! My previous Zojirushi lasted 15 years!! Cooks perfectly and steams veggies equally as amazing!! 100% recommend.
Macys refused my refund after package lost.I have to call my bank to do dispute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it so far.
Very disappointed. This is truly just a rice cooker. I bought this to cook brown rice and steel cut oatmeal, which are foods we eat daily. It just won't cook. Still cut oats without making an enormous mess. Water boils out the top vent and spills over the back. It's a real pain to clean up. We have tried rinsing the steel cut oats repeatedly prior to cooking, and it still makes a huge mess.
Even with reviewing directions every time, I have produced nothing but mush. The box was missing the plastic cup - yes, I double checked packaging. I think I may have got a returned item that was repackaged. I have learned the plastic cup is more like 3/4 of a cup, that’s why they tell you to make sure you have it. Contacted Zojirushi for a cup, they wanted all kinds of documentation, it was easier to just order and pay for the cup. I got suckered in to the hype. A pan on the stove takes 1/3 of the time and gives me better results.
