We have been very happy with this blender. As advertised, it is quieter than other blenders, unfortunately in six months, the pitcher has cracked as well as the cutter blade.
It good for a first few month. After few uses it started giving burning smell and the blender stops working.
Just picked up the blender and first ice drinks are good.
This blender makes GREAT Smoothies! I use it at least once a day, sometimes more. It never disappoints!
This blender is powerful with 800 watts of power, versatile with 4 different speed settings and quieter!
I was able to use the blender about 3 or 4 times, each for less than 20 seconds before the cutting blade assembly broke on some ice cubes. the plastic under the blade snapped, rendering the blender useless.

The two thing I liked about this blender is plastic jar and ease of dissemble and assemble. Previously I had a glass jar blender which was heavy and fragile, but this blender is lightweight and sturdy so I can use it worryfree. Also in case of deep cleaning it can be dissembled to the nuts and bolts so cleaning is easy and its more hygenic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this blender in the mail and as soon as i opened it, everyone screamed smoothies. Needless to say, i have made smoothies every single day for 2 weeks straight. I love the fact that it's not loud but works great. It put a little ice in my smoothie to make it more of a cold drink and it shredded the ice almost instantly. Frozen fruits smoothies come out absolutely perfect and when i say smoothie....this blender really did make them smooth. Zero to littlw bits left. I was worried about my grands getting choked, but the bits of fruit come out so tiny, no way anyone's choking. (Grandmas do worry). Hamilton Beach has not let me down. This chop and blends so much faster than the one i had before and im so thankful. Who knew that such a common household item like a blender would bring my grandkids running everyday. Obviously, Hamilton Beach knew.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this blender to make some drinks. But, i had a hard time getting it to completely crush the ice cubes that I put into it. It seems that the container is to small at the bottom to completely stir the ice slurry around. I had to keep adding liquid to it to get it to crush the ice. But, then the drinks became too watered down. Not a very good slushy consistancy at all. I tried to mix mostly liquid products and it seemed to do a better job.
