Black & Decker 4-Slice Wide-Slot High-Lift Toaster

Features are nice, but it would brown one one side of the toast darker than the other. I sent it back for this issue .

I returned it after a few tries. It just wouldn't toast the same on each side. One side was darker than the other. I liked the functions, but if I can't get a even toast , those functions aren't worth it.

This toaster works great. Love the way it looks and is compact for a 4 slice toaster.

How can I give a review when I haven't received the toaster. Shipment was 3 to 6 days so where is my toaster?

Bought as a gift for a friend and his family. That just moved into a new home single dad. He asked for a toaster like this would be great. Nice toaster.

This toaster was supposed to be for my aging parents who needed a new one and it ended up being a bust. They said it took over 5 minutes to toast and barely did anything. So they had to go thru the hassle of returning it. Kind of surprising for a toaster. It’s not that complicated. But electronics nowadays as so cheap and poor quality. Sad. Would not recommend.

What a piece of junk. The toaster slots are not long enough for most modern bread. If you have wonder bread from 1980, it is great. The quality of the plastic housing is inferior to a kids toy toaster and it toast about the same way-poorly. If you are looking for a corner burnt, the middle untested and the edges slightly toasted, this garbage toaster is for you! I all but got it for free so it is not worth returning but I can confidently say I will no longer consider B&D a 'quality' brand as this piece of junk is a shameful concept of a toaster. Grab an iron and use it instead, much better results or just buy any other toaster on the market, it would be difficult for it to be worse than this thing.

Well this toaster works well, but it too small for larger size breads. Have to push down bread to make sure it toast the bread. I went price instead of reviewing other brands.
