Petal and Pup Women's Lauren Dress

This dress was gorgeous! The quality was so nice and the lace was so pretty. It was a little too big and top and fit just right on the bottom. So so pretty!

I love the dress but was too large, had to return it. Returned it to Macy’s with no problems.

I ordered this for a semi formal/cocktail wedding reception in May, indoors and it was perfect. I am 5’3.5, 130 pounds and was a little worried about the length but it hit at the right spot on my legs and fit like it was made for me. I loved the fun mermaid style combined with the crochet made it feel classy, sexy but also appropriate for the more semi formal setting. The crochet layer is not soft, but not itchy. Just a bit rough and fairly thick, probably to help it be sturdy. It does feel a bit breezy where there is no underlayer but a shawl would be sufficient for that. The only concern I had at the wedding was it getting caught and snagging while partner dancing at the wedding (we are swing dancers so more partner dancing than not). While it did get caught once on my husbands suit coat button (of all things! Thankfully he wasn’t wearing a watch) the crocheting did not tear.

Pretty dress. However, it is a tight fit (no stretch or slit) and made walking hard. Dancing would have been a challenge, so I returned it.

This dress was everything I hoped for, and more. It can be difficult shopping online since you can really only go based off of others reviews. Many of the reviews said the dress ran small. So I bought my normal size 2 and a size 4 to be sure. My normal size fit just fine so I returned the 4. I would say it fits true to size for a fit that looks like the model wearing it in the product photo. As far as the look, this dress is so beautiful, even more lovely in person. I am not exaggerating when I say that EVERY SINGLE PERSON I saw that day complimented me. This is a purchase you will not regret.

The dress was way to big on me, I am 5’4 145lb, I’m usually a Large size 9-10.. I ordered Large based on the sizing chart. The lace material on the dress is very thick and rough, on the pic the dress looks fine and delicate, the sleeves were more ruffled than shown. The dress was returned

Loved this dress!! Wore to my bridal shower and it was great. Everyone loved it. The mid area wasn’t too revealing. Felt great in this!

I really love this dress. If I were 3 inches taller, it would be perfect. I am 5'2 and 104 lbs. It fit me but I think you need a longer torso and legs to really make the dress work for you. The mid-section cut out was a bit lost on me because I am petite. The cut-out lacey pattern trim at bottom of dress hangs a bit too long for a shorter person. This dress is well made and truly beautiful, it will be great if the buyer is 5'4 or taller. I wish it would've worked for me.
