Fits and works great! I bought this one as an extra and because the one with my mixer is wood which I want to protect. I hoped it could fit in my microwave for things like melting butter for a recipe, but alas my drawer microwave is too short. I do recommend this bowl!!
This was my after Christmas gift for myself since no one got it for me. I have used it somewhat consistently for 8 months. I liked how it had the spout and lid and while it took up a lot of room, I could store in my fridge as I made different items. It is heavy and takes some arm strength and while I have been careful with it, I noticed while washing that it had a crack going around the bottom. Not sure what happened. I was devastated because I loved it, but just not worth the price for 8 months of use.
This bowl was exactly what I ordered and I am very pleased with it.
I used this product once and, after I moved it from one area of my countertop to another, I saw a crack. No idea why, it was gently handled. I am quite disappointed, not like other Kitchen Aid products
Used it once stared cleaning it and this happened to the handle while washing. Very unimpressed with the quality of this bowl.
Bowl shattered when baking. I had only gotten to use it a couple times. I made sure not to mix hot and cold liquids, as well. It seemed like thick glass but completely spidered on the outside layer and spread to the inside. Bummer since it was so pretty on the counter. Really disappointing since it was expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this glass bowl as an accessory with the purchase of the new KSM50 and have used it several times now. It’s terrific being able to actually monitor that everything in the bowl is being incorporated. I find I’m not needing to stop and scrape the side of the bowl as often because I can see when it’s needed. Definitely worth the value.
Received a new glass bowl as a gift as a replacement. Lasted about two uses then cracked. Previously had a glass bowl with a plastic screw on attachment for the base - feel the glass and overall design of the old one was better quality.
Washing the bowl after use with hot water. It cracks from the base to the top. I have used it a few times since I purchased it 6 months ago. I will go back to the steel bowl that came with the stand mixer.
