Delsey Paris Turenne 2.0 Business Front Pocket Carry-On Spinner

This is a great piece if carryon, offering lightweight and quality construction. It is expandable, which I like. The inner compartments are made with fabric rather tnan mesh or plastic. The wheels glide easily. I took this on a rough pavement and it withstood all impact. This one seems to be designed for international travelers, which is a convenient while lifting. The only issue I ahve is the limited interior space due to its design. Hence four stars.

I had (what I think) was a first version Delsey Turenne carry-on that finally cracked after 13 years of heavy international use. I wanted a similar bag that had a front self-locking pocket, and the Turenne 2.0 fit the bill. I was slightly hesitant because this was smaller than my original carry-on, but considering the increasingly restrictive sizing for carry-ons by airlines, I was confident that while I was sacrificing a bit of space, I would be better off than having to gate-check a bag potentially full of items that I did not want under the plane. The bag itself is very light, and the addition of a USB port on the side is great, because it is sometimes really hard to find a seat near a plug at the gate. But my main reason in buying it was the lockable front pocket. Most carry-on bags with a front pocket either don't lock at all or rely on purchasing a separate lock with a key - which to me is much less secure. The only other comparable bag from a *known* travel bag brand with a self-contained lock was larger than allowed by the international airlines I fly most, so it wasn't a good option for me. Two minor drawbacks are that yes, it is a smaller carry-on - and some of that space is lost when using the front pocket for electronics. But again, I needed to make sure it meets the requirements set forth by the airlines I fly most, which it does. The second is that I found the internal strap (that compresses items inside the bag) is too short, even when fully extended, which is annoying. I mostly just leave it unclipped when packing but it isn't ideal - maybe I can find some sort of extension somewhere?Overall though, I did a lot of research comparing bags and brands, and I'm very happy with this one. I had hoped for a pink bag, as my last Delsey was pink, but no luck. I ended up choosing the light blue and it's a beautiful color that stands out from most bags. I highly recommend it!

I am a Desley Superfan and have been always. It is my go to brand of suitcase for myself and as gifts. It is all I own and love each one. Until now. Received this bag and was stoked to take it on a quick biz trip. Unpacked to find that the strap was not connected to the interior of the housing. just a loose screw. Then noticed that the strap is not only not adjustable, but also too small to strap down clothing to the top of the bag. As it if was inadvertently cut significantly to short, make it completely unusable. Although the bag is about 1 inch taller than its older counterpart that I have had for 10+ yrs. it is also woefully too small in the interior compared to the prior version. The lining is sadly cheap as are the feel of the rest of the parts. All in all, such a bummer. Very disappointed that it is not in keeping with the quality the brand has had all of these years.

This bag is ridiculously small. When my teenage son saw the new suitcase, he commented “I can’t even fit two sweatshirts in there”. I submitted a request to return the three bags that I purchased and I’m waiting for a response.
