The flowers are embroidered on a light blue sheer material, under this is a light blue layer of lace and then a light blue layer of lining. Sounds like a lot but it is light and airy! But the layers make this dress so beautiful. The flowers are bright and in the right setting would just be stunning. The hem line is scalloped with all of the embroidery detail so finding the perfect shoe would be a must. Some might have to resort to a light platform to keep the hemline. I am looking for a MOG dress and felt it was not the right fit for my occasion but for a guest or a garden party or summer gala it would be amazing. The dress runs true to size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous. I loved it so much and it fit perfectly, except for the length. I am only 5'4" and could not wear the 4" heels that it needed. The overlay was such that I did not think it was hemmable. Sadly I had to return it and am crossing my fingers that a petite version is released.

I usually wear an 8 and had to size up to a 10 for the rib cage portion of the dress. It has no stretch. Also, the dress shown on this page to rate, is navy, I ordered sage, which was gorgeous.

I found my size to be a little large under the arm due to my modest bust size and I am unsure about how to approach alterations because of the emroidery. However, that is a typical alteration for my body shape, just a challenge because of the fabric.
