De'Longhi Rivelia Automatic Espresso Machine

I would love to review this item however it has not yet been delivered. I’ve recieved several messages from UPS saying it would arrive by Sept 14 and it never showed, the I was informed by UPS that it had been delayed but would be there between 12/30 and 2 pm on Sept 15. At 8:00pm I was told it was delayed but would be there by 9pm. I finally asked for a phone call in the ups chat and when I spoke to an agent o was assured it would be there by 9. Having my doubts I asked them to please check that it was actually on the truck. Initially the agent did not want to check, but I insisted. She came back on the line and informed me that it had not left the warehouse and would be at least two more days!!! I waited at home for two days for an item that had t left the warehouse! Macys needs to change carriers or at least insist on better tracking!! All that to say, when the machine actually arrives I will be happy to improve my review as I’m sure it’s a wonderful machine.

We’ve been using the Rivelia for about a month and are very happy we chose this machine. It’s easy to set up and makes excellent coffee. It performs all of the barista steps automatically so there is a bit of set up involved. We followed all of the clear instructions available directly on the machines screen, and now have perfect beverages with every use. Highly recommend this machine.

Really good machine. Quality of the drinks with fresh beans is great. A couple of minor issues. The rubber tube on the milk dispenser fits very loosely. Every time I clean, it just sort of slips off. Have concern going forward. One other minor issue. The slide on the milk dispenser that is movable to fit different size cups is of concern as it just sort of slides on its own when you extend it. Other than that, things are great. As with the tube, I do have concern going forward. Will watch it for continued issues, but time has a way of continued degradation. Just being honest.

Not a knock on De‘Longhi, this review is purely about Macy’s. Order it with a ship to store delivery because it was significantly faster than shipping to home. It arrived a week late. But because it was ship to store, Macy’s said it could only be picked up at the store within 7 days. Well, by being late, we had left on vacation and their customer service said that they could only hold for 7 days and would not ship to my home instead. They also wouldn’t cancel the order and being the credit card reversal process until the 7 day window was up. No options, no solutions, just a take it or leave it mentality from customers service agents who really didn’t care. In fact, they made it seem like it was my fault it couldn’t be picked up. When I pointed out the lateness of the delivery, I was told that delivery dates are simply suggested and shouldn’t be counted on. Really crappy experience all around.

Love this machine. We were looking for a one touch brew machine that you could be half-awake in the mornings and still have an excellent cup of coffee. We really like that it grinds fresh beans and that it does have the option for a second hopper for another type bean and even has a slot for pre ground if you needed. It provides instructions every step of the way on how to set up your machine making it super easy to use. We use Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee Medium Roast and it combined with the Rivelia machine makes an excellent cup of coffee.

Makes excellent coffee. My wife and I have had it for several weeks now and have been enjoying a variety of different drinks, with regular milk for me and soy milk for my wife. We got an extra carefe to make it easier. The milk is also heated to a good temperature, not scalding hot. Wonderful to have such great coffee at home with such ease of use every morning.

Great machine/ lots of options for drinks and settings. Takes a few minutes to set up and then you have to play with the different intensity of coffee’s to get the right setting . 4 different profiles allow for multiple users in your house so once you get the preferred settings its easy to make your drink. Overall very happy with the machine so far ( 4 weeks into getting it)

Excellent machine, just perfect , simple to use, the extra coffee containers are easy to swap to alternate coffees

I would return it if I could. While there is a good variety of coffee options, what I have tried so far is not great. Also, to make a simple coffee it takes so long - grinds some then pour water and coffee and then grinds again. I also have a Jura which I like much better.
