Nice shoes but the soles need work
It is a beautiful shoe. Good looking and comfortable. The problem is the SOLE. It has so little traction and felt too slippery to the point it would be dangerous. Returned the shoes because of this

Cheapened design - not as good as the old version
This is my fourth or fifth pair of this model shoe. Up until this newest pair, I thought I’d wear these at work for the rest of my career but now I’m not sure. They cheapened the material from the sole to the leather and it’s noticeable the instant you put them on for the very first time. Sure, they’re mostly ‘broken in’ after a day, but after a week or so of use I’m thinking of having two old pairs of this model restored by the local shoemaker. They are just that much better. J&J - raise the price of the shoe and bring back the old design. You dropped the ball on this one.

Sizing seems off
I generally love J&M shoes, and I have at least 4 pairs. All the ones I have our size 9, but the Reeve Run off must run very small, because I couldn't even get my foot in the size 9 they sent me and I had to send it right back.

Do Not Buy
Purchased the same pair in store years ago and they lasted for hundreds if not thousands of wears during 12 hour work days, on my feet all day. Purchased online in August 2025, wore them a handful of times and had to stop by October 2025. Not only were they so uncomfortable that wearing them made my feet hurt but one of them just started coming apart at the seams. The elastic on top literally just detached from the body of the shoe and the sole has glue or stitching coming apart. A cheaper brand I found online has already replaced them. Easily more comfortable and seems to be lasting much better. Since I'm outside the return window Macy's Customer Service can't do anything about a defective product and could have only replaced them if they arrived with obvious damage. Great policy.
