Love, love, love all features.Nothing like smelling fresh brewed coffee. Grinder very well made. Easy to maintain, easy to descale/has notification, two step clog remedy ( if occurs). Stainless cafe keeps 2-12 coffee cup decent temperature. My last Breville lasted 8 years!

I had my first Breville grind and brew for about three/four years before it started leaking water. Bought my second March 29, 2025 for my birthday. Well, I am now on week two of no morning coffee. This machine makes a great cup of coffee - rich, full bodied - flavor is just wonderful. I will admit to being a coffee snob and I really do believe that grinding right before brewing makes a huge difference. But honestly, my husband is now asking me why I keep getting the grind and brews. Two weeks ago it stopped working - just won't grind - won't brew without grinding. I get an error code. I cleaned it out every month, descaled regularly. I've been trying to get in touch with Breville and it is almost impossible. I work full time and try to get home to make the call - because I've seen on youtube that they may do a video call to troubleshoot - I am so frustrated. You spend 400 on a coffee maker and it last a little more than a year?

I was so excited to buy this brand of grind and brew. However, after following all directions including cleaning and descaling etc., it frequently clogs and does not release the amount of coffee requested,

This is the best coffee machine to brew single cup at home. It tastes like I went to the coffee shop. Machine is easy to use and clean. Great job Breville!

Ok, I've had this machine for close to 10 years. I'm a legit coffee snob, roasted coffee back in the 90's at a boutique shop in Oregon that I still buy all my beans from. This machine fits my snobbery and use case perfectly and I've become pretty good at managing its quirks. Overall the thoughtfulness and design engineering is really progressive, conscientious, and practical in my opinion. The All-in-one setup and functionality are top notch as is the ability to flex between a single cup or a full carafe - with the same freshness, flavor, and initial steeping. The carafe is incredible but that design comes with a small quirk of the pouring situation at the end of the pot. Maintenance is a little tricky but you get used to it and its not that big of a deal relative to other options and the overall utility of the machine. WITH THAT SAID...AND I'M LOOKING AT YOU BREVILLE...YOU NEED TO ADD A SIMPLE OVERFLOW FAILSAFE SENSOR!! There are two situations that result in morning coffee catastrophe...forgetting to place a filter and forgetting to put the pot in place. Both cause a full overflow situation with coffee and grounds all over your counter and onto the floor...especially if you are making a full 12 cups. Cleanup takes 45 mins typically. THIS COULD EASILY BE REMEDIED BY A SENSOR IN THE BASE THAT RECOGNIZES AN OVERFLOW AND CUTS THE BREW CYCLE. Maybe this tech wasn't available at a reasonable cost years ago during the design and launch process but for sure it is now. Of course cue multiple concerns about false alarms or other stuff but I'm sure the expert design engineers at Breville can minimize those and the reality is I'd much rather wake up to a false alarm and mistart than coffee everywhere. Frankly my machine continues to work fine after all these years and no reason to replace it but I absolutely would if I knew that such a failsafe had been designed in! I have a pretty good process to be sure both causes of overflow are checked before bed but I still miss it once or twice a year. BREVILLE - PLEASE ADDRESS THIS AND SOME OF THE OTHER FEEDBACK AND LAUNCH A GRIND CONTROL 2.0!!!

Was time to replace our tried and true grind and brew coffee maker, we decided to upgrade to a Breville for the burr grinder. The first pot of coffee was amazing! However, four months in, we’ve spent more mornings trying to get the machine to work correctly than we have actually succeeded in waking up to coffee in the morning. We have followed all the care and maintenance guidelines in the owner’s manual, we’ve gone online for troubleshooting guides, and I can’t find a next step. Most recently the coffee maker just won’t complete brewing. There is no error message, we unplugged and reset, it turns on and grinds the coffee beans, then shuts down with just a dribble of coffee in the pot.

Works great. Nice to be able to change to your preference.

Great tasting morning coffee-- the clean up after each brew takes mins. No issues with thermal carafe either, coffee brews very hot and maintains heat for hours. Our other pot dripped when pouring, we appreciate this new design. The grind to brew is very quiet, were very pleased with this product.

It worked as expected. The freshly ground coffee tastes amazing. With options of single serve cup or a pot from 1 cup to 12, it is also convenient.

This machine is simple to use, with high quality manufacturing. I am very happy with my purchase!
