I’m very disappointed with this GreenPan Kyoto Carbon Steel pan. I purchased it expecting good quality, but after using it only twice, the surface already started to look damaged and discolored. I followed normal cooking and cleaning instructions and did not expect a new pan to deteriorate this quickly.
How come rust it hard to take care
I never got the product ordered. Instead they sent me a 10 piece set in a salmon color.
Great. Love it but it warps when cooking on low or or high. Leaving a bulge downward whilst cooking.standard electric cooking top
I cook a lot of Chinese dishes & stir fry. Wanted so badly this to be THE WOK. Sorely disappointed it was not to be. The finish came off after 1st use. Rust after. Despite following all the instructions. Total waste of money.
The quality of this wok is terrible. I just bought it, and the bottom started rusting the very first time I used it for stir-frying.
never write reviews, but I felt compelled on this one, that's how upset I am! Within second use of month, it rusted badly! No matter what I would cook on it, it stuck to it! It didn't seem like it was seasoned, and there were no care instructions, maybe that would have made a difference! ?I doubt it! Don't know what to do with it, without wasting it, probably only steam!! the reviews claiming nonstick might be occasional users, once in a blue moon!? I am irate for taking a chance on the positive reviews, and the money I wasted, I wouldn't even want it if it was gifted!
only use for vegetable on low heat, natural coat starter disapear after few use, then it got kind of rusted and then finall after 8 uses rusted and no even a month damage. not worth the money and the work to keep it from damage, useless.
NOT non-stick. Needs to be carefully cleaned and treated. Easily scratched. Great size and weight.
Good sized wok for stir frys. Fast delivery. Food doesn’t stick. Great carbon steel material. Highly recommend.
