The handles on the bag are beaded. I think holding the bag either on your arm or hands would be annoying after ten minutes. I returned the bag otherwise love the bag but not the handles!

The shoulder strap is not an attractive form given the size of the bag (the bag sits awkwardly past the hips, giving it the look of a child wearing their mom’s bag), so it is nice that the shoulder strap is removable. Because the shoulder strap was removed, it looks a lot more luxurious as a handbag. The bag has a sturdy weight like a well-made bag would have, though it would have been nice if it was a little lighter. The bag looks and can hold a fair amount of things, but given the bag’s weight, I would not strongly recommend it be stuffed because it becomes a heavy weight to carry. The biggest concern with this bag is the lack of a zipper at the top of the bag. Granted, the bag does not seem like it will open super easily, but the visual cue given by the zipper plays a huge role in terms of giving security. Overall, if you do not mind these mostly personal preference concerns, this is a great bag to add to your collection.
