When I opened this lip balm I was worried it would be way too dark because of how deep it appeared. Upon application, the color proved to be a perfectly easy, casual, sheer red that is a great red lip for me. Being over 50, I need to be careful with a heavily lined "perfect" red lip because it seems to age me. This sheer formula gives the right amount of color while appearing and feeling hydrating and "cool girl" undone.
