The top part of the dress was way too big to include under the arms, chest area and shoulders. It has too much extra fabric would have needed a good bit of altering. It was returned.
I should have read the reviews before purchasing. The dress is truly 2 different sizes. Bought a small that fits good around the waist and hips but the top is more of an X-Large fit. So weird. Returning!
I had to return this dress. It was huge on top and wasn't flattering at the hips either. I tried 2 different sizes and it was the same problem with both. Just not well made.
I purchased this dress because the colors were what I was looking. However, the material was cheap, no lining, and the material along the halter chest area was too much. Was not flattering and cheaply made. The colors were very nice but had to return due to the material not being worth the money.
This would be great for a tall, very slim person as the neckline and bodice is blousy, not figure flattering.
Although I fell in love with the pattern and vibrant colors, the dress did not do anything for me. Too much material at the top. This dress is not lined. For reference I’m usually a small or xs. I think you need to be on the taller side and larger busted to make this work?
As MOB for my daughter’s upcoming July wedding, I was looking for a dress for the outdoor ceremony that was summery and was not solid in color, and this dress fits the bill perfectly. I am 5’4”, 138 lbs and originally ordered a 6P. It fit great from the waist down (except the length, it still needs to be slightly hemmed) but despite my 36D bra size, it definitely had too much material up top, as others have said. I ordered a 4P and it still fits well from the waist down (hem still needed) but has less material at the top. I will be having a seamstress add a small hidden snap button at the chest area to discreetly bring the fabric in that area together to cover my chest a bit more. I really love this dress, the fabric and floral pattern colors are beautiful.
I had high hopes for this dress, but the top is way too blousy & some of the seams in the skirt are crooked or pucker. Very disappointing!
Beautiful dress, but it runs very a little large in the top. I have ordered a smaller size, but I have not received it yet.
Only positive is that fabric/colors are beautiful. Dress is unlined and shows every bump and bulge. The top has excess fabric and does not even slightly resemble what it looks like on the model. FYI, I am petite 5'2" and weigh about 113 lbs.
