I wanted to love this! But it is bested in literally every way by a knife and cutting board, including ease of clean up. I was excited that this could make cutting herbs easier/faster/less messy but it struggled SO much, even when doing small amounts that made the process take forever. The suction cup doesn’t work at all, so you have to find a way to hold it still while turning which is awkward at best, near impossible at worst. The blades aren’t close enough to the bottom to be fully effective with small stuff like garlic. It also doesn’t chop things into even sizes— we’re talking wildly different sized chunks— so what even is the point of this thing?? I guess I’ll try it for salsa or something, at least it would contain the tomato juice? I’m so sad that this is so much better in theory than practice, and that it’s proving to be largely useless.

SINCE I HAVE ALWAYS HAD LUCK WITH OXO PRODUCTS AND THERE WAS A SALE, I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. WELL, I WAS SO VERY DISAPPOINTED FROM MY 1ST LOOK. IT WAS POORLY MADE, THE SUCTION CUP ON THE BOTTOM DID NOT STICK TO ANY SURFACE IN MY KITCHEN. SO I TRIED HOLDING IT AND CHOPPING CELERY, ONIONS AND CARROTS INDIVIDUALLY. IT NEVER CHOPPED, THE LID CAME OFF SEVERAL TIMES. I HAD TO DISCARD THE VEGGIES AND WILL BE RETURNING THIS TERRIBLE PRODUCT. SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY PURCHASE, SHAME ON YOU OXO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a first item from OXO that is just OK, I love everything else I purchased so far. I tried chopping onions and it took so much effort that it just wasn't wort it. I still had to cut onions into smaller pieces and chopping was not smooth. There is just so much you can put in it and then getting it out and cleaning after. . . I am keeping it and will use it maybe for nuts etc, but I wouldn't buy it again. Oh, well.
