This hair cream is perfect in that it’s just the right amount of hold without being sticky or too firm. I use it after coming off the course. I wet my hair, apply the product and make fun of my bald headed buddies that wish they had good hair like me!

I have thick, coarse hair and this stuff adds a little bit of control, along with some style to my daily hair regimen. A very subtle hair gel.

So glad I found this. I'm a dude with long wavy hair, and I used to use either clay or sea-salt spray for a natural hold. Both worked great but there's a chance that they'll leave clay or salt residue if you're not careful. This gives the same look but it's much more even. It tames a few loose strands and shapes the hair to get out of my eyes without looking like I put product in. I like to do a 50-50 mix of this and the Jack Black Hair and Beard Balm to keep it all shaped and hydrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I'd find myself shopping a men's line of products, but I saw this advertised for coarse and dry hair styling and thought "why not." WOW. Game changer! I have dry, frizzy, fairly coarse wavy/curly hair. I do not need to apply this into "sopping wet" hair like all curly hair line products -which I detest that application process. I applied this to damp hair and then reapplied some more once my hair dried. Soft, shiny and moisturized. I am hooked. Starting to order more Jack Black products. I could care less this line is for men-go for it women!!

It is not what I have expected. I used wax pomade from jack black which was really good as compare to their competitive. But unfortunately it was discontinued due to some reasons.
