Takeya 1qt Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker

The first one of these we had was glass and of course we broke it. So I figured I would try the plastic ones. Even though they’ll stain probably quicker, the glass one had its fair share of T stains on it as well. These things are fine, but the most annoying part? Screwing the parts together. I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to line up two plastic pieces with the lid and with each other. Every single time I take this thing apart to clean it I am cursing at trying to put it back together again.

It does what advertisement states. I've had tea makers before but, this one is my absolute favorite!

These are the best drink containers, the lid is a tight fit and can be stored horizontal in the refrigerator. The handle and the lid handle make it easy to transport. I love making fresh herbal iced tea!

It looks like it's a really good picture, I haven't tried it yet, I just don't know if it's really worth the money, I just don't know.

The stated size is 1qt, it is actually 1.5 qts. It works as advertised but I needed a smaller size.

The box and description says this is 1 qt. It is actually 1.5 qt. I didn't want one this large. It works well but is just too large for my purposes.

This does the job. It has a relatively low height and fits on a shelf in the fridge! Hopefully it will last a long time.

Nice size for a single person. After you get used to it, it is easy to use, makes good tea, and is easy to wash. I did wash it by hand. I like the silicon seal and non slip handle. I like that the clear cyclinder container is big enough to fit my hand in with a dish rag to wash it, and small enough to fit beside my Britta water pitcher in the refrigerator. For me, I pour a mug of hot tea at dinner, and then put it in the frig, the remaining tea is good to drink cold the next morning and afternoon.

Great idea however Carafe is way too small. Too much work for 2 glasses of Iced Tea
