Cosmic purple
Great fitting shoe. So comfortable I can walk in them all day. Suede is top quality. Small hits of purple but just enough.

The designers of the first 990 were tasked with creating the single best running shoe on the market. The MADE in USA 990v6 embraces this original mandate, with a series of performance-inspired updates. The upper dispenses with the standard midfoot saddle, allowing the pigskin suede leather overlays to flow from heel to toe across the mesh underlay, for a speedy, streamlined look. While the evolved design marks one of the most dramatic changes from one generation model to the next that the 990 has ever seen, the greatest leap forward occurs on the inside. The addition of FuelCell midsole cushioning means that the evolution of the 990 can be felt as much as it can be seen. New Balance MADE contains a domestic value of 70% or more. MADE makes up a limited portion of New Balance’s U.S. sales.

Great shoes
I have bought 11 pairs of New Balance 900 series made in USA shoes over the last 8 years. I am 68 years old and average 16,000 steps every day. These shoes keep your legs safe with the way they are made. I have no leg pain running, walking or playing sports. Buy these shoes for your health if not for the good looks and great construction.

Simply the best
The 990v6 is the best shoe in the universe. The color of these shoes was a little unusual but I use them at the gym and no one there really cares.

Great look, fit a little wonky
These replace my 990 v4 I wore out. These are great looking and well made but the fit is a little narrow in the toe box and the top of the lacing rubs the inside of my ankle unless I leave it loose. I'm hoping for find a lacing strategy that works to leave room at the bottom and top but still feels stable when walking.
