I have waiting years to: I have waiting years to convince myself I needed and deserved these boots. Well the time came and I purchased them for my birthday. All I can say is, DON'T wait forever like did! I could have been enjoying these extremely high quality crafted boots years ago but I'm happy to have them now. I will 1000% order myself a black pair next and I'm not waiting years to do so.
I bought a size 8.5 in 'brown', hoping to wear a thin sock with it. But I had to go in barefoot, as the opening where the ball of one's foot is, is a bit tight. But once you get past that, it's a lovely fit. They were very comfortable to walk in with a bit of heel slippage, but that is always the case with new boots. Will probably wear with hosiery underneath to avoid blisters. The wide calf size was a blessing - I haven't been able to wear boots because of my big calves, but I lost a bit of weight, and now these wide calf boots are going into my regular rotation. May buy a black pair as well. Really gorgeous boots.
Beautiful boot and great for extra wide calves, unfortunately, for me, they're too wide, and the regular boot is too narrow.
I've searched so long for a cute pair of knee-high boots that fit my wide calfs and I'm so glad I found these. The leather does stretch over time so even though they were a little tight at the cuff for me at first now they fit great with plenty of room!
