Great trail and running shoes: I use the Golden Gate shoes on rocky trails in Wyoming, hiking and trail running. I like the quality, comfort and durability.

From beginners to pros, the Scarpa® Golden Gate 2 shoes are the perfect transitional shoes for those who spend time on the road as well as the trail. These low-top shoes offer plenty of cushion for logging miles on paved surfaces, but are also at home on gravel roads, park paths, and groomed single track. Their Bounce Foam midsole is high cushioning, absorbs impact, and is still stable on uneven terrain, while the breathable mesh upper with Sock-Fit LW and EXO features a lace-up design for a secure fit. These lace-up shoes are made of a polyester insole and lining. They are ideal running and travel shoes when you encounter a variety of running surfaces. Heel pull tab. Round toe design.
