I have a 5 year old pair of Saloman X Ultra 4's that I love, but they're wearing out after being my go to for any and all adventures. This new pair doesn't look as good, and the toe box has been narrowed considerably. So much so, that a "wide" in my usual size, or even a half size larger is too tight for me. You've ruined a great shoe for me. Not sure what brand to try next, but Salomon's are out.
