This boot was too tight with my initial size, I exchanged for a half size bigger and my foot no longer hurt when walking, but was still a little more snug that I would normally like, hoping to break them in at this point. Great style however, and they are the exact look I've been looking for. Love that I can tie the laces a few different ways depending on the look I'm going for.
These are incredibly narrow boots. Fortunately for me because I wear a women’s 12 N. They are gorgeous leather, have a solid sole and it is a very gender neutral aesthetic.
It looked like a very cheaply made woman’s boot rather than a nice rugged men’s boot. Total joke size wise. Going back.
Unfortunately the pair I got the insole fell apart after wearing them for about an hour.
The left foot was tight across the front of foot (width), right foot was fine and the sole on the left foot was digging into foot, Will exchange for another pair.
It is well known that these boots run narrow, and that one should try a half size bigger. That worked for me, I'm glad to say. The soles, being quite soft, started wearing down immediately, so I relegated them to indoor wear -- at least till I have them resoled. But what surprised me was how soft the upper was, and how easily the leather was damaged. I had it professionally waxed, and hopefully that will protect the upper.
Poorly constructed, terrible sizing, styling looks cheap, with cheap materials. I’ve had great shoes from Steve Madden in the past but this by far one of their worst. I could never be seen rockin these out in public. I’ll just give them away. Also smells really bad, like very cheap rubber.
The leather was unforgiving at the ankle and dug into the foot. Great looking boots though!
they're different. i wanted to get another pair of the same boots i had before and now they're totally different. the leather is much lower quality and they're not even the same size.
A bit stiff to start out but softer a bit by wearing them. Never got a blister or anything. Feel supported in the sturdy boot
