Great crew socks for umpiring baseball games!!Very light weight and thin. Seems the perfect ratio of cool wicking merino wool and polyester/spandex. Wore today umpiring baseball on the bases, was 95 degrees, and my feet remained relatively cool and absolutely dry. Had I had on black cotton socks, they'd a been soaked by the end of the game. Two big enthusiastic thumbs up. These are definitely going to be my new baseball umpire "base" socks. Very comfortable- not cushioned, but for the application, I did not want them to be. Cool in the summer, warm in the spring.
