I don't understand why the women's socks are only partially cushioned. I have to order the men's socks to get the best cushioning.

These are great socks. I bought six pair in multiple colors. I just use the socks to keep my feet warm as I tracked across Belgium and the Netherlands. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a great pair of sturdy/comfortable/warm socks.

Wanted something "special" for a walking trip in cold wet conditions. At first wearing it was obvious that these are the nicest ducks I've ever owned in my life. I'm getting rid of ALL my old cheap ones in favor of these to wear everyday.
