This was my second try with these boots. Going 1/2 size up, I’d hoped that I would get them to fit my wide feet. They were still too narrow and now there was at least 1.5cm (1/2 in) travel of my foot front to back. These boots would be murderous on steep terrain. Not sure how these could be marked as “wide” boots. If you’re about a D width, these boots are not for you! I also noticed that the soles were dirty. Someone else wore these boots briefly and then returned them, presumably because of poor fit for wide feet.

Really good-looking and well-made boots, but they were much too narrow. I really wanted to keep them, but I could just imagine the pain of being on the trail with shoes too narrow or if I size up, having too much room in the toe box.

Fit seems a little tight after one week. I wear these at work and walk up to 10 miles per day . Still hoping they break in a bit and stretch out to fit better. Going to give it another week and see how they do.
