While these boots were beautifully made and very nice looking, they were too narrow in size 10.5 E and too long in size 11 E. Even in size 11 E, these boots felt a bit too narrow. But in the 1/2 size up, there was significant heal slippage that would have been a major problem on long trail hikes. Furthermore, they didn't seem to have much arch support. I admit, I am very hard to fit being a US 10.5 EEEE width with very high arches, but I even orthotic inserts would not fix the heal slip and the narrowness. After having tried two different models each in two different sizes, I must conclude that Asolo is just not the brand for me.
