Definitely something wrong w this formulation. Doesn’t apply well. Smudges super easily. Doesn’t stay on. Useless. Saw an influencer use this color for brown eyes and got it. :(
I’m sad to write this review because this has been my favorite eyeliner for over 15 years. I adore the bourbon shade. Something has changed with the formula and it’s barely even usable at this point. It doesn’t go on as smoothly or as pigmented as it used to and when I try to sharpen it, the tip just keeps breaking off. The last time I tried to sharpen it the back of the pencil cracked off. How does that even happen? I even repurchased the pencil from another retailer just to see if it was a fluke, but the same thing happened.
The tip snapped off as soon as I got home and opened it. I barely even touched it and boom, the tip was gone.
This is not a stay all day eyeliner on the waterline. It doesn’t run but it absolutely wears off and gathers in the corners of my eyes.
These used to be so good. I don’t know what happened. They must have changed the formula, but now these barely stay on, go on terribly, and break easily. So disappointed!
This product is good however I thought this would be able to go on my waterline but it wasn’t able to. The liner go everywhere on the packaging and is difficult to sharpen. Nice try but save your money
There is nothing about this pencil that glides. I have tried multiple angles and it looks like cheap, wet and wild eyeliner from the drugstore. I also tried the tarte and it was terrible.
I bought a few shades last year and really liked them, so I also bought a few for my sister, who lives abroad. Unfortunately, after some time, the liner dried out. I’m not sure what happened, but whenever I try to use it, the pencil tip breaks. It’s also very difficult to find a suitable sharpener for these pencils. I really loved the shades, so it’s disappointing that I can’t use them properly anymore.
I purchased this after a few years away thinking surely they have fixed the breakage problem … opened the package and went to put it on and the whole tip fell off. Tried to sharpen it a few times and both times the tip would crumble. So disappointed!
My favorite formula but terrible packaging, feels like a scam because the liner gets used so quick and after that you pretty much can’t use it at all. Would make life easier if you could just twist it up to get more product but I’m certain they do this so you keep buying after little time
