Urban Moisture Deep Hydration Shampoo for Dry Hair

My stylist has been using the Ultimate Reset line on my hair for the last 9 months - we decided to purchase this line shampoo/cond/mask to see if it would be better on my long thick coarse semi curly hair that I get blown out every 7 days. Used it for 2 weeks to get an idea. The difference was noticeable, by day 3 I was wondering if I needed a trim as my ends were feeling dry. Switched back to Ultimate Reset line and back to soft & silky hair!

So surprised how hydrating this shampoo is. I thought I was going to return it because almost all of Shu Uemura’s shampoos dry my hair (ie. Dry/damaged shampoo, gentle clarifying, etc). My hair tends to get dry from most shampoos, so this will be my new HG

I have long thick 3c curly hair that I blowout weekly. I purchased the whole line and I love how soft, light, and shiny it makes my hair. It’s nourishing without adding weight which so many hydrating shampoos do.

I love it! It really moisturizes my 3C hair. Living in a high humidity area my hair is just out of control too. I dye my hair chocolate cherry cola and it's maintained my color well. I'm really satisfied. The smell is amazing! I was lucky enough to get this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love this shampoo! I have a long, thick and wavy hair and it is dry and frizzy. For almost a month of using this shampoo, I love how my hair became smooth, soft and shiny. Usually, when my hair gets dry it's really frizzy and I have to iron it but when I use this I don't need to use a hairtool to make it look better. It has a light and earthy smell that I really like. Smells luxurious. I love the packaging as well.

I have fine hair, but A LOT of it. It can sometimes get greasy at the roots, but overall dry and dull. A frizzy mess. Detangling my hair post shower was always an arduous process. It’s difficult to find a moisturizing hair care regimen that caters to the above, without weighing it down (as evidenced by the minefield of hair products in my shower). So I’m grateful to have been given an opportunity to put SHU UEMURA’s Urban Moisture Deep Hydration Shampoo to the test. It delivered on all claims: intense hydration, nourishment, frizz reduction, detangling, strengthening, and shine. Though I was most impressed by how smooth, clean, and light my hair felt after first wash! Rarely are those descriptors synonymous with my hair…and life in a humid climate. The scent is also divine and lingered enough for my husband to notice. Wasn’t long before he tried to claim as his own. Overall, this shampoo exceeded my expectations and is worth the investment. Highly recommend treating yourself and your hair to such a high quality product!

This didn’t really do anything for my fine wavy hair. It didn’t feel moisturizing nor cleaned well. The scent is almost nonexistent if you like that. I won’t be repurchasing this brand.

This is the best shampoo I've tried. My hair loves this stuff. I have oily scalp and dry ends. My hair is fine but a lot of it. I will continue to buy this over and over. Their oil is also absolutely incredible and doesn't turn my hair greasy, only hydrated and super soft.

This is the only shampoo you will ever use after trying it. Best smell ever!
