On The Rocks Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo

I honestly really loved this shampoo I feel it cleans my hair great without stripping it which I now know A-LOT of clarifying shampoos do that. How ever I find it a little hard to spread I rub it betweeen my hand first to foam it an fine this the easiest way of applications

Drybar cleans your hair thoroughly. The texture of your hair feels different afterwards. Like it completely removes all dirt from your hair and scalp. I wash and rinse twice.

i was so excited to try this and was SO disappointed!! having the same problem as other people seem to be having, it leaves my hair super greasy looking!! giving it 2 stars because i like the smell and texture, other than that, i wont be using again!!

When DryBar says clarifying, it really means it. On The Rocks is the most efficient clarifying shampoo I ever tried. A small amount removes all the build-up product, dry shampoo, sweat and dirt or whatever you might have in your hair. I actually think one shampoo application would be enough, but personally I always shampoo twice. Although it's black in color, it's not the kind of charcoal shampoo that will stain the entire shower / bath. And for a clarifying shampoo it doesn't dry out the hair. But I wouldn't use it more then every 2-3 weeks (I wash my hair every 3-4 days), it's too... clarifying. My problem is the scent. It smells like a minty men cologne, and I can definitely distinguish the ginger and sandalwood. And the scent lingers in the hair.

I’m in love. Not only is this shampoo color safe…it actually removed the brass (brunette). I followed with the on the rocks conditioner as well. My hair dried fairly quickly and is SO SOFT bouncy and manageable. Did not dry out my hair at all…unlike other clarifying shampoos and conditioners. The scent is unisex…kinda spicy and clean but light.

This is the best clarifying shampoo I’ve found, and I’ve tried several. My water leaves my long fine hair completely unmanageable. Using this one a week keeps me sane. Will keep repurchasing.

I love this clarifying shampoo. The smell is really nice, not too strong or sweet. I use it once a week, usually after a hair mask and it always leaves my hair so clean and lightweight. I find the best method is to do a double rinse, meaning to use a small amount, rinse and then lather once more. That’s what my hairdresser recommended I do to get a thorough wash and get all the gunk out from the week — and it works like a charm!

Smells funny and left a weird residue in my hair. Another clarifying hair product I’ve gotten as a sample that was disappointing.

Very good to help manage hair treatment, especially with washing my hair everyday. I use it every 3 days.

This is one of my go to wash day shampoos. I will continue to repurchase.
