True Skin Medium Coverage Serum Foundation with Niacinamide

While I really appreciate brands that use clean ingredients this foundation didn't really work for me. It is so sheer, it should really be marketed as a skin tint. The lightest warm toned shade was almost to dark for me and as I spread it out, it was almost getting darker and turning orange. I always use something with a yellow undertone, but it is orange not yellow. It is a very wet foundation that never really sets down even with a lot of powder. It has poor staying power and seems to slide around and come off when you touch your face. It's not a terrible foundation, but $50 - $60 dollars should get you a really decent foundation. It seems really overpriced for what it is.

I like the formula for my mature skin but I cannot find a color match. i have tried two now. SF1 is "very light with cool undertones" but too dark and very yellow, not cool at all! I have neutral to cool overtone and warm undertone, and this isnt even close. There is only one lighter cooler option available. I am never the lightest option in any foundation.

Used once and had a full face rash. I do have sensitive skin but have found "clean" products don't cause any issues. This one really did and took a while to clear up. Disappointed with my skin's reaction and the price I paid to get it.

It’s ok. Every time I use it opens on my skin. I have oily skin and I think this one is best for dry skin.

I love the brand and have used their skin tint religiously, but this product is just awful? I purchased because I wanted more coverage for the winter months, and I thought this was a buildable foundation with increased coverage, but it was SO watery and lacked so much pigment that I put it on my face and it was virtually invisible. I would not recommend. Esp for this price point

Have not used iLia before. Product was very runny, way thinner than the serum foundation I’ve used from another brand. Light cool color was ORANGE and didn’t apply to skin well at all.

I don't wear foundation. I've been trying several, as I'd like to have one. This one is perfect for me, I can't feel it, it's light, I can't see it on my skin. I will say the shades were challenging though. The same with the serum foundation. I should have gone a shade later than I am. And I find Ilias foundations do run a little warm. I'm a fair/light neutral and F1 was a better match. But I'm pretty happy with it. And I can't stand the feel of foundation on my skin. Or a tint even.

I am not sure what happened, but this made my face so painfully itchy, and made me breakout on my forehead with one use. I chose the product because of the ingredients, but something did not react. It’s moisturizing for sure, but unfortunately is also feeling like an itchy burn.

This is the first foundation of my life and am glad i got this one . The shade match my skin really well and looked natural .never made my face look cakey or heavy will buy again for sure

Pure perfection. I have been using this foundation for a couple years and get so many compliments on my skin. I never enjoyed wearing makeup until I tried this foundation. Would be lost if they ever discontinued this product or the Sable SF.5 color. It's beautiful and buildable, and it makes your skin healthier. A big win all around.
