I have combination skin with dry spots mostly on my cheeks. This was not too greasy or thick but this didn't work for my skin. My skin is pretty sensitive and reacts to a lot of different ingredients. I had some redness and couldn't use it anymore.
The Dermalogica skin smoothing cream moisturizer is a great addition to my skincare routine. It is very creamy and lightweight on my skin. It absorbs quickly and does not leave a heavy layer on the skin. My skin is well hydrated and softer since using this cream. It lasts all day long and has provided a natural glow to my normally dry skin.
I'm always skeptical of any 24 hour + claims, but I gotta admit this leaves my skin feeling nourished, a sensation which lasts a while. If that is what they are referring to, then i get it! I definitely see a smoothing effect as well, which makes sense as it's a hydrating formula. For me, I love the inclusion of arnica, which my skin reacts well to: quite soothing. Personally I would prefer a fragrance-free formula, so heads up that this does have some essential oils. Finally, I quite appreciate the option for a big tube! For a jumbo size product, that's how to do it! Overall, solid option.
I love anything Dermalogica, so I was pumped to try this moisturizer. It’s SO good! I would describe my skin as combination — sometimes it’s dry and other times, it’s fine. This is a great moisturizer if your skin is that way too. It’s hydrating and not too heavy. Loving it!!
A little bit goes a long way with this moisturizer. There’s no added scent. It hydrates deeply without clogging my pores. It makes my skin look glowy but not greasy. It hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. This is a great every day moisturizer.

This is a great daily moisturizer. It absorbs super quickly with zero residue. It's not greasy at all, and I will definitely be using this daily this summer, combined with my SPF. There is a slight smell when you first put it on but it dissipates quickly and isn't noticeable enough to be a huge deterrent for me. I have not used this long enough to notice a drastic change in my skin, but it feels nice and hydrating.
